At Wiesner McKinnon LLP Jeffrey Wiesner and Jennifer McKinnon build upon their successful collaboration at the prominent litigation boutique firm Shapiro, Weissberg & Garin, LLP (formerly Stern, Shapiro, Weissberg & Garin, LLP). Prior to forming Wiesner McKinnon LLP, Jeffrey Wiesner spent 15 years at Shapiro, Weissberg & Garin representing clients in a broad range of litigation matters. Jennifer McKinnon spent several years teaching trial advocacy at Harvard Law School's Criminal Justice Institute prior to returning to full-time practice at Shapiro, Weissberg & Garin, and now Wiesner McKinnon LLP.
At Wiesner McKinnon LLP we are uniquely positioned to provide comprehensive guidance on a broad spectrum of legal problems. Unlike many boutique firms, we take on a wide variety of cases in diverse practice areas, including intellectual property, employment, violations of the wage and hour and overtime pay laws, class action suits, the defense of government investigations, representation of witnesses before grand juries, and an ever-widening array of complex criminal and civil litigation in the state and federal trial and appellate courts in Massachusetts and beyond. Our roots in criminal law and civil rights law have involved significant jury trial experience and a level of comfort in the courtroom many law firms lack. Our breadth of knowledge creates advantages in devising creative tactics, strategies, and solutions for our clients.
We offer deliberative and prudent advice and work closely with our clients, who are always at the center of critical decision making. Whether through negotiation for settlement or a trial before a jury, we are prepared to offer our clients the highest standard of advocacy.
